Hyderabad | September 21, 2026 A fresh Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority order has highlighted an important protection for Hyderabad apartment buyers: a flat cannot necessarily be treated as genuinely ready for possession merely because much of the physical construction is complete. TGRERA directed Janapriya Projects Pvt Ltd to complete remaining work and provide legal, ready-to-move-in possession of an apartment in the Sitara at Janapriya Lake Front project. The Authority also ordered payment of 10.70% annual delay interest and imposed a ₹32 lakh penalty in connection with accepting booking money before the relevant project registration.
